You will find on the net many comparative tests are very detailed. I propose here simply to show you the changes in temperature as I have observed. My configuration: Processor : Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.8 GHz (overcloacked à 3.4 GHz) Socket : 775 Motherboard : ASUS P5Q (BIOS version 2102 - 04/07/2009) RAM : Corsair DDR2 4 Go (freq : 2 x 533 Mhz) Graphics : ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series (DDR2 512 M) Packaging and Context : ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comparisons of temperatures :
Review: There were no large temperature differences at rest, however, 100% of processor cores increased from 85 °C to 58 °C !
